Improved kill and damage attribution. The game now more accurately tracks the source of damage, enabling better interactions with modules, artifacts, and augments.
This should solve some known issues with ship weapons not gaining stats from ship related artifacts. It should also help status builds proc secondary effects, the module that gives a melee buff on kill for example, from status damage or last hits consistently. Finally it should help attribute kills and damage to the correct players when status or secondary effect deal the last hit.
Grenades now fly further when thrown, making them more useful and satisfying.
Updated the visual effect for the beam that transports loot to your ship.
Third-person equip animations have been added for several items.
Modules and artifacts that deal damage can no longer accidentally trigger additional damage events, preventing unintended chain reactions.
Fixed an issue where physics objects like grenades would fall incorrectly due to gravity not being applied properly.
Fixed an issue making it impossible to un-prepare vendor items in the hangar
Fixed several buttons on the end-of-mission outcome screen not displaying correctly in all languages.
Fixed the Distress Call mission failing to start when enemies were engaged outside of the designated trigger area.
Fixed an issue where the Corvette enemy could retain status effects after being defeated.
Fixed the Raptor enemy's head not displaying the correct visual effect when hit.
Fixed enemies that were culled (hidden for performance) not reappearing correctly after being relocated.
Fixed the inventory screen being accessible while using the jetpack, which could cause unintended behaviour.
Fixed the crouch prompt hint not displaying correctly in the prologue after crouch was split into multiple inputs.
Various internal settings and configuration improvements.
In the Cargo Ship finale, when attacking the weak points on the Cargo Ship to disable it, there is one specific damage point that cannot be damaged with laser weapons on your ship. All other types of ship weapons still work, like Flak Turrets or Miniguns. Just not any lasers.
We are working on a fix for this right now.
